All About Violin By Sam

Sam, a 16-year-old violinist from Oshawa, Ontario, brings a unique blend of passion and proficiency to every performance, whether it’s a wedding, party, or special event. His musical journey reached a new height when he was featured on the 2024 season of Canada’s Got Talent.

Beyond the stage, Sam is a committed advocate for various charitable causes. His philanthropic spirit emerged in 2018 when he was ten years old with the Salvation Army, and since then, he has consistently used his talents to make a difference. He raised over $1,000 for flood victims in Kerala, India (2019), and for those impacted by the Wayanad landslide (2024). Sam is a proud member of KidsRockForKids, a NYC-based music organization that has generated over $50,000 to assist teens in crisis worldwide through the power of music. He also dedicated his efforts to raising funds for Lakeridge Hospital at the Oshawa Mall in 2024.

Sam’s dedication to his craft is evident in his impressive list of achievements. He is the Vstar competition winner (2021), a two-time Pickering Rotary Festival 1st prize recipient, a Kiwanis Festival 1st prize recipient and a CNE Rising Star finalist (2023). His performances have graced stages at the Vibrant Brampton festival (2022) and numerous City of Oshawa events, including the Bright and Merry Markets during Christmas, Open Doors Oshawa’s 100th year, and the Peony Festival. Sam also cultivated his skills within the Oshawa Little Theatre Youth Orchestra and the La Jeunesse Youth Orchestra.
